“I do not heal, God is the one who heals”

Joao de Teixeiria de Faria, or otherwise known as “John of God” is a healer of world reknown. He does not charge money for his healing work and helps people at all levels of society.

Joao’s first became aware of his healing abilities at age 16 after a mystical series of events, and which concluded with him healing 50 people. Since that time over forty years ago Joao has healed millions of people. Thirty years ago he built a healing sanctuary in the small town of Abadiania, 105km south of Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil. The location was selected based on the richness of quartz crystal deposits in the area. The crystals are significant components that help to build strong healing energies.

 Joao’s healing sanctuary in Abadiania is called “Casa de Dom Ignacio” – in English this means “The House of St Ignatius”.  It is fondly referred to as the “Casa” by the many that go there. To pass through the gates of the Casa is to pass through a portal into a world where miracles truly happen.  People come from all over Brazil, and in more recent years from abroad.

St Ignatius is one of the spirit beings who works through Joao during the healing sessions.  There are many more spirit beings that guide Joao’s hands at various times during the Wednesday to Friday sessions at the Casa. Many of these spirit beings were at one time medical doctors before they passed on into the spirit world.

Many medical doctors have visited the Casa over the years, often seeking their own healing, and many with the desire to witness the miraculous work that occurs outside of the bounds of normal explanation. There have been studies performed on people who have been through invisible procedures where there has been no piercing of the skin, and post imaging studies have revealed internal sutures.  Surgery that is not possible using conventional practices, due the degree of invasiveness and risk, becomes possible in the hands of the spirit doctors that work through Joao.
